My wacky world of ducks!

Did you know that when a duck sleeps it keeps one eye open. This is because only half of their brain goes to sleep the other half stays awake and checks for danger.
All of last years ducks before they go to new homes. They enjoyed fiddle music, sleeping in the middle of the road and other peoples gardens and going on long walks. The other types of ducks you can see in Shetland are the Mallard, Teal, Wigeon, Tufted duck and Red-breasted Meganser.
Willot - the brown duck is a female karky cambell duck, all the rest of our ducks are part Shetland part mallard ducks. Links
